So choose your fats carefully.

When it comes to your Leaky Gut Syndrome diet, I always recommend organic foods. This is because they contain far less toxic food chemicals that can create significant amounts of inflammation in your gut.
For starters, there are toxic pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and other farming chemicals that are covering your food. And it’s not like they use just one or even one of each. Conventional farmers spray dozens of these chemicals which only makes matters worse.
Then you have to take into account all of the toxic food preservatives that enter the food supply as well in order to prolong shelf life and add flavor to unhealthy foods.
And if you think we have toxic food, think about what they feed cows, chickens, and other animals and how much of those toxins are making it onto your dinner plate.
Alcoholics and those who come from alcoholic parents run a much higher risk of developing Leaky Gut for a number of reasons. In fact, this is can oftentimes be a telltale sign when there is no need for a formal Leaky Gut Syndrome diagnosis.
Alcohol is also a major source of inflammation within the digestive tract.
